The Gearagh Series were taken in the Gearagh, Co. Cork. This unique inland delta was partially destroyed in the 1950s as part of the creation of reservoirs on the River Lee. It is now a national nature reserve. Bruchet has processed the photos as inverted, giving a nod to the reversal of the destruction currently taking place as much as for aesthetic consideration.
